Marty is trying a 26a son in Kansas. Didn't they call him maxi-brute?
aj said:Whoops. I guess brute was a son of leader 9th and grandson of leader 21. I always wondered if he might improve marbling in todays Shorthorns. I always admired Don and Pat Stout of Pa Do Shorthorns. A great couple, started with nothing and threw their entire lives into the Shorthorn breed.

Kenmar President 26A now available. https://www.facebook.com/Sherbeck-Farms-104143464975511justintime said:Ted Sherbeck at Ansley, NB ( Bent Spear Stock Farm) has about 1200 units of Kenmar President 26A ( Maxi Brute). I tried to buy some last year, and he would not sell it. He wanted me to flush cows to it and he would take half the embryos for supplying the semen... Needless to say, he still has it all.
