We just donated 3 amps of Kinnaber Leader 9th to Funding For the Future- this auction takes place during Jr national Shorthorn show. Call Jake or Patrick for details of auction.

The semen has been stored at Great Lakes Sire Service- we have flushed with it too.

George the Giant was Kinnaber Leader 3rd, and was owned by Keith Legge and family, Willmar, SK. Their herd was carried the Green Bluff prefix. I was never aware that any semen was collected on him, but if there is some around, it should be used. Kinnaber Leader 3rd was an excellent bull.

I have a yearling TPS Leader 21st son -- Lead Outside the Box ET-- that will have his big "coming out" publicity in the July 2011 Shorthorn Country Herd issue.  Please watch for our full page ad there.  At that time I will also post his picture and info on our website.
He is everything that I wanted him to be.  Moderate, Meaty, Puppy dog personality and a beautiful roan package.
We then hope to start collecting on him and building up semen inventory.  I will be sure to have his collection qualified for export.
I do plan on using him on my own heifers this spring first to test his calving ease next spring-- he already has really good CE numbers, but I don't expect anyone else to use him unless I test him myself.
So far so good with him this year- he had an excellent ultrasound test in March, Execellent scrotal measurement and semen test in March also.

The cow in my profile picture is a direct daughter of TPS Coronet LEader 21st thanks to Steerplanet member "Doc". She is a moderate female with fantastic udder. Pretty easy to work with and maintains her condition with fairly minimal input. I have been trying to collect some of that older semen but I do not think you can export it.

Her sire is a direct son of Leader 9th

I have a spring 2011 bull calf from this cow. White. 74lbs  *x4174067
He is by all reports from Diamond K ---" REAL GOOD ".
His sire who is a direct son of Leader 21st is a PHAC so we are in the process of getting the calf tested.
He and his dam could be for sale in the Montana Shorthorn sale in October.
