Little League World Series!!!

Hats off to our local team from Goodlettsville,TN. They defeated Kearney,NE last night 12-1 to move on to the next round. They play a team from CA on Sunday. Got some good kids on the team and a pitcher by the name of Brock Myers that is real good.
They defeated a team from Warner Robbins, GA to get to go to Williamsport. Warner Robbins has sent a team to the world series 4 out of the last 5 years and won the whole deal in 2007.

I watched a little yesterday, it is always fun watching the kids play.

I've had a chance to watch parts of a few of these games and really enjoyed watching the kids play.

This is the essence of baseball to me, I think I enjoyed these games more than the MLB games I've seen in the last number of years.
