This has to be one of the better purebred charolais bulls out there. He's a maternal sib to Yellow Jacket, sired by George. There's a video of him on Collins site.

I think the bull looks great, but I also think that the photographer has done a great job of getting the perfect pic. Has anyone seen this bull in person? How tall is he? It is hard to tell with him knee deep in grass. I like how wide sprung he looks. Brent

This is the bull that really jumped out at me in his catalog, but there is just something about his back legs that makes me wonder every time I look at him. I havent seen the bull in person or a video, so I can say there is something up with them. Has anyone else noticed that he may be a little sickle hocked or might be u little up under himself? Great bull though.

Says in the catalog he is a frame five. He looks fine off his back legs in the video.

How hard is it to get semen on these bulls?

If he has bad back wheels is he really a great bull? Watch the video, you get to see a lot more than trying to judge or decide soundness from one picture.

Am I the only one that always watches a calf walk both straight at me and straight away from me before I buy them? I wish all these cattle that are videoed for sales would at least be shown walking away.

Is lot 4 a flush-mate-a little straighter in his lines especially over his back,-and maybe a tad more fluid, less bold in the shoulder, not  as thick and showy- 2 very good calves to me,Also like lot  64-the mossy-oak picasso. Tough to find this many good ones anywhere else.O0

i like lot 21.Yah hes like a heavier boned, wider travelling, stouter version of the purebred Angus offered further down-and a little longer and courser through the shoulder-To me he is way better overall than the Angus-and would show maybe more performance-Im surprised because Covino on the dams side is real old-sometimes ugly fullblood genetics. i don't think covino III was all that ugly.  he's a different type novino and happens to be the sire of pc metric.

an early black bull.  so he's a red carrier and pattern carrier. he's also horned, so three strikes against him. he's PHA free.  probably only one notable son, pc megaton, who is in irish whiskey.

there's a pic of him in the hall of fame thread.

Am I the only one that thinks he is too round in his rear, he reminds me of the old Limi's.
Throttle, the way a calf walks walking away from me is the 1st thing we look at, if he doesn't cover his tracks it really doesn't matter what the rest of him looks like.  IMO you judge a calf from the ground up and you will never go wrong.

We all say we want to see these baby bulls without hair.  Well, here they are.  I've never seen a bull highly touted by Kris in one of his sales that had anything flat wrong about them.  He has too many to pick from.  Havent seen this crop, but Ill wager this one is the real deal.
