Low Birth Weight bulls

Hey i was just wondering what are some really good, popular low BW bulls? I was just wondering because i will be getting a couple of heifers bred and wanted a low BW bull.  Thanks

My heifer bull o choice is Majors Money Man  he's a reliable bull, and his calves will at least be able to be registered Maine-Tainers.  I've had a very easy time marketing the calves from him and have used him and a money man son to a large extent with great calving ease.

So far, Montego Bay is turning out to be a low birthweight Maine sire.  Several 2nd calf heifers have calved to him with no assists, and we just got our first calf out of a first calf heifer that was born 64# unassisted out of a first calf heifer.  Calves appear to be hairy and thick with a very moderate birthweight.

Fat Tony...... He's averaging around 78 pounds on his calves. That is if you want to go Red Angus.

This is my second year calving out heifers to TNT Dual Focus (a SimAngus bull carried by ABS) and haven't had to touch one yet. Calves have great vigor at birth too.

yeah, all of that's fine, but when you name a bull, can you put what breed and his birth weight?  Also, 78 pounds is a big calf for a heifer, trying to get smaller.

Several angus bulls here that got 10-15 on CED and still got very good CEM with growth
Really depends on what you want to do and what you have.
We just had a Garden Primestar heifer have a 65lb. bull calf out of Sydgen Trust, he looks nice,  she just plopped him out, he was on his feet and was nursing in the blink of an eye. ;D

I don't think 78 is that big of an average weight. You have to remember that alot of the calving ease bulls are bred to not only girders but big old cows to try to get there calves birth weights down. Regardless of what the average is we haven't had any troubles at all breeding to heifers. He's still at a -4.3 BW Epd.

C Bar Contour is a red angus bull on Accelerated's Website.  His actual BW was 79 lbs but his CED is 13 and his bw epd is -3.7.  There is a new angus bull on Select sire's website that has a 70lb actual and looks to be one of the stoutest angus bulls around and his name is Connealy Capitalist.  To each their own but I would look at CED and bw epd as well as actual and I would also look at accuracy (consequently both of the above bulls would be low accuracy) but Ebony's Grandmaster would be proven.
