I have had 12 of these calves so far and they are by far the most consistent set of calves I have had in years. I have been in the clubby business for 30 plus years and have never seen a bull sire so much power and hair and still got a great stride in there walk. I am going to breed way more of this bull. I have heard other great reports by other people as well. I loved that bull at the stud last year. Has anyother people had many out of Man Among Boys? I live in Nebraska. Thanks

What type of cows are you breeding him to?  I am looking for a consistent clubby bull.  (I know a consistent breeding crossed up clubby bull is a bit of an oxymoron.)  Not looking for all world calves but some county fair calves.

Anyone else have any new MAB calves? I really like the look of his calves so far. Keep the pics coming!

I don't have any pics but we have 8 or 9 of them.

Ours have quite a bit of bone, length, all have better than average mass, and just that look to them.  I used him on bigger cows with a lot of body and that move real well with pretty decent front ends.

I will use him again.  The verdict is out on BIM.  I have 8 or 9 of them too out of pretty similar cows.  Running side by side there is quite a noticeable difference in bone, depth, front ends and overall mass.

Does MAB seem to throw quite a bit of color, reds, red spots, & chromed up calves or are most of them coming solid black? Thanks.

How is MAB calving ease and birth weights compared to BIM?  We have several BIM.  All have been pretty good sized but have not touched one so far.  They have a lot of vigor.

I've heard of 11 being born from people that sold semen to, biggest one was 90#. I only have 1 personally and he came out of s second calver at 75#. He's probably my most complete calf overall.

We have all black out of both bulls except 1 red/white heifer.  I have 2 more MABs to go.

I haven't figured out the average on them yet but it will probably be in the mid 80s.  The high on both bulls was  92 and a BIM today at 78.  We've pulled BIM and MAB calves but not because of shape.  A foot back, cows with tons of room but notoriously lazy quit trying,  and 2 backwards.  Most of these cows are out of Playboy, Heartbeat, Strictly Business, and out of Angus cows.  The other noticeable difference on our calves are the MAB have more hair.

We had trouble with the BIMs getting started for a few days but I think the weather was playing a huge role in this.  The one today was up and trying to nurse in about 15 minutes.

Thanks, but what I was wondering, was what color are the calves that he sires are coming colored like. I have seen MAB a couple of times. I also saw a pretty stout dead one two days ago out of an older cow, BIG.

I have also had great success with MAB.  He works on any type of cow and is the most consistent bull I have ever used. I have attached a few photos of my MAB's

What's the cow's pedigree on the top calf. He sure looks just right.
