Looking for some feedback back from anyone that has had some maternally yours calf's had two so far out of sim angus heifers both had to be pulled no official weight on them but I feel safe in saying they were 90+ I've got two more coming out of heatwave influenced heifers little worried

You've more than likely got as much real experience as anyone. This is his first calf crop. I'd keep the jack ready. I wouldn't consider him a CE bull especially on HW daughters. JMO. Thanks for the info.

We have two coming out of 3/4 Simmental cows. Being an I-80 x Grizz (Heatseeker in there) and a new bull that's alot of heifers to try him out on. Good luck.

i believe his dam is a grizzly which would be a simmy bull with no heat seeker

He's an I 80 x Grizzly/Miane/Saugahatchee. Grizzly IMO was never a CE bull as he was promoted to be. Plenty of hard pulls out of Grizzly / heifer matings.

Grizzly is out of a cow who would go back to Heat Seeker. It'd scare me more using a young bull that has just breed average EPD's than the Heat Seeker that far back I guess.

CAB I agree on Grizzly for calving ease too, never was calving ease I didn't think. Besides Grizzly x 3C Macho (wasn't a bet the ranch CE bull either)

CAB little more info for you calf's weren't very vigorous at first took good bit of time before they got up . But other than being big, dopey and little off in the hip. I'm happy with how they turned out that bull will definitely put bone and hair on them also happy with how clean necked the calf's are.

What kind of cows do you think he will work best on? Looked like a pretty sharp and intriguing bull in his promo ad.

To early to say all I can say is I used him on the 2 sim angus heifers because they had a little front to them needed some bone and wanted some hair and got that so if any of your cows need that I say use him

Here is one of our Maternally Yours heifers. Kind of made the same as her momma, other same thing I'd say. Just a tick of white on her head. She is hairy, soggy and thick. She sells as lot 1 in Allamakee County Cattlemen's Purple Ribbon Prospect Sale

the only 1 I have seen and been around was a thick little lady... pretty short... had some hair and she liked to climb walls! Got her clipped and fitted and the guy showed her.
