Maximus on heifers?

Anybody have experience using Maximus on first calf heifers?

We have had about 5 here. Three have been over 100lbs. I only have records of helping one of those and the heaviest is out of a cow that has big ones. We used on heifers the first year and did not do it again. Liked the calves but use with caution.

you would be very brave and very confident in your heifers and calf pulling skills... he isnt a giant calver but he isnt mentioned with first calf heifers much if any

we have had a couple out of first calf heifers. only 2 but didnt touch either we were very cautious with both

Never had any low birthweight calves with Meyer 734 so I don't see any of his sons doing anything different unless out of a purebred cow that has low birthweights in her pedigree.

I wouldn't reccomend it there have been some big ones out of him

I wouldn't advise using him his name shows why MAXIMUS! Unless you are always home, very brave and willing to take consequences.
