melatonin implants

Does anyone have experience with melatonin implants. Where would u recomend purchasing them and what protocol did you use? We only have about 6 weeks until our target show, so would they make a difference in that time period?

They take 60 or 90 days I'm pretty sure...I can't remember which one though

I don't think so, but to be honest I don't know.

[DCC show cattle]

you get slight results at 60 days but you get the full results at 90 days but remember your cattle still have to have the genetics and the hair has to be worked still to get results. It helps with hair growth and worked great on an irish whiskey heifer we had.

Kane,
You will see a difference as early as 4 to 6 weeks.  I would recommend splitting the interval you have in half and andministering 3 implants each time.  You can order here www.melatoninimplants.com

Do the implants work more effectively than giving melatonin pills in thier grain? The pills are relatively cheap at the drug store.
