Knabe, we had one steer out of monopoly and a Charlois influence monopoly. The steer had an adequate amount of lower quarter expression, wasn't overly expressive and the heifer was neither wide nor very expressive in her quarter, I'm not sure if just the cow or what.

A sire cant have as many sons win as he has without throwing enough muscle expression.  He did a lot of things very well including siring a somewhat unique combination of muscle and soundness.

He was by a longshot the most consistent clubby bull I've ever used.  I consider him an order of magnitude better than his daddy.  You'd get one every once in a while that's too short, but his steers tend to actually get better with age.  Too many show steers look their best at 500 lbs and then its downhill from there.
