What would you say Monopoly Money works best on? I have a sim/angus cow that is going to have her 3rd calf soon. I am then going to AI her for the first time this june/july. She is very stout/big bone/and thick. But she lacks depth and flank. Would Monopoly Money work better than Walks Alone on her???

MM will definitely add some frame size, makes them a more practical size IMO. We had a MM heifer born last year that is growing really well and we are keeping her in the replacement pen.  Good to hear the success stories.  He definitely puts that red/brown color in them.

The red brown color can come from 2 things, one the dam can posses the dilutor gene which causes brownish color, or two MM may have just passed on the red gene which can also cause that brown or sunburned color

This my mm heifer two months old out of a half Maine half beef master cow  mm may be a cow changer IMO her last calf looked just like a beef master but mm cleaned up her neck and gave her small ears even with nice rib and thickness and added some hair

Yeah I just figured it came from the bull because the dam of our calf had always thrown coal black calves and almost every calf Matt Lautner posted last spring out MM had that similar color.

Monopoly Money steer was Reserve Champion Cross Bred and the NCC Jr Show in Kearney NE this past weekend.  I believe he was 3rd overall.

Really nice...REALLY REALLY nice.  He could have won the whole deal and I don't think there would have been a whole lot of argument.

Not real big......actually, quite the opposite.  Super soft, super sound.

That's one calf.  Sorry I don't have any pictures.

A close friend of mine has an excellent MM steer. He was 3rd overall feeder calf at the Loup Valley Livestock Challenge  last August (show of all county fair champions from Nebraska). The calf is larger framed, super soft with great depth and a wide rear.

Here is a monopoly money steer we sold earlier this year.  We liked the two calves we got from him.  so we leased him and bred all the summer and fall cows to him.
Great hair,  Real sound,  big footed, big bone.  Not reccomended for heifers.  Big hip.

You can find this calf at copus cattle company

Couple of weeks ago we got a blue roan calf that is real exciting to see.  real pretty and big hipped.
