More SNOW (with pics)

OK, so we just got plummard with at least 6 more inches of snow, on top of the 14 we got from "the Blizzard". My cows and I are really tired of it all. Good news is, they are predicting temps in the 50's this weekend! YEA! Maybe a melt off??? We have three calves due to heifers in the next three weeks, a warm up would be nice!

The first two pics are of our group with calves (see them in the TOP of the hay?). The third pic is our Built Right cow that was third at Nationals in Iowa this last year (does not look like a show cow now!). She is due in a month. The last pic is a Shear Force heifer due mid March visiting the mineral feeder. See all the WHITE STUFF?!!!

We had the opposite 6 last week and 14 yesterday.  Running out of room to move the snow.

We cant take any more, already 300 barns and other farm buildings have fallen...ugg, nasty winter.

Yeah this winter has been crazy with all of the snow and the tempurature fluctuations! Oh and by the way you have some good lookin' cows in that pen of yours there...wish they were in my pasture!  (thumbsup)

OH MY LANDS!! All this snow has got me worried! When it comes to spring and it all starts to melt where is it going to go?? Not good!

Enough with the exteme cold weather and snow.  After 20 inches last week we got another 6 on top of that yesterday.  When I was driving in to town this morning my truck was telling me it was -22 degrees I know that you folks up north are a tough bunch this has been awful  our state, county and towns just dont have the equipment to move that much snow. and it has busted all of the budgets.  I just talked to a friend of mine in Miami OK and they got another 20 inches yesterday.  Thank God that warmer weather is forcasted.

My hats off to the Northerners.  Just try to keep that cold weather up your way from now on.
