My wife and I went to the movies yesterday & saw Lone Survivor and Her. Here's my take. Go see Lone Survivor if nothing else just to get a  little perspective on some of what our service men and families must go through. As far as Her is concerned, promotion and politics doesn't just apply to club calf bulls. Save your money for an over priced cup of Starbucks coffee and a scone. The money will have been much, much better spent. Worse than the Twighlight Saga Breaking Dawn as hard as that is to believe, it's true.

Trying to get the nerve to go see Lone Survivor.  I know a guy that had done 3 tours over there and after his 2 thumbs up I will suck it up and go. What about taking a 12 year old boy to it? Too much?

I fear when I see our soldiers voluntarily sacrifice themselves for sheep herders, I will get filled with pure hatred for middle east.  A country can not "win" a war by being politically correct and having morals and ethics.

I can not imagine what our soldiers go through. I can only humbly nod, shake their hand and pray I can uphold my end by being an active citizen.  God bless every single soldier.

I barely remember him, but the main guy in that was from my small hometown about 5 yrs younger than me.  Very small world.
