My new bull!!

Here is a couple of pics I snapped of my new bull I bought . I bought him from Martindell Farms. He's a Jan.'08, DJS New Horizon son out of a Durango dtr. I know some people won't like his color , but he's got enough power & mass that it didn't matter to me.

Nice bull. About what frame size is he? He looks like quite the stout specimen, i like the shape through his top and into his stifle. (thumbsup)

I had a sneak peak but still like him. Plenty stout and I like his coloring. He will make some nice calves. he has some rib to him as well.

Looks good.  I wouldn't worry about the color.  Around here, most people we sell cattle to want color.  I can remember a couple of recent 'colorful' national champions, too!

He looks pretty Stout.I will try and get over there and take a look at him in the next couple of weeks.Color to me is just part of the joy of raising Shorthorns because you never know what combination of red,roan or white they may have.

I'm going to say an upper 5 to about a 6.
