My Shorty Bull

His maternal grandsire Teapot came from Joe Farris(sp?) and he produced a lot of clubby type cattle in his day. I never saw a photo of the bull but that is what others have told me. If I remember right he has a number of calves registered. My bull's name is PLM Blanco if anyone would like to look him up on the shorty site. I can't post pics from my blackberry but if you pm me your email I would be glad to send some calf pics. Thanks Kelley and Marty for the comments. Back 12 or 13 years ago saw either a Teapot son or Teapot himself, can't remember which - that's what happens when you get older.  he was in Central Texas at a shorthorn breeders place and saw several Teapot heifers and steers.  From what I remember his calves had lots of volume and muscle along with great hair.  The bull was moderate in size as far as frame score but the depth of body on his heifers is what I remember most.  Just a side note, Joe Ferris' shorthorns back in that day were flat good, had lots of steers make the sale in FW.  Haven't heard his name is several years, not sure if he's still around, but he marketed very stout shorthorn steers.  BTW, very nice bull, shortdawg, bet he would throw some good FW steers here in Texas, his daddy sure has.

Wonder what he'd to on a Gert cow to make a roan "Star 5",or an  aweful good Lasater-bred Beefmaster cow to make a Texas calf that would still type "American" for the Texas shows?<beer>
