My sons heifer

What do ya think of my son heifer?  Angus Jan 2012 TC Total X 6807 she weighed 1570# last Friday and she only gets hay and maybe 10lbs of a 14% pellet and some beet pulp.

I really like her.  That is a big heifer for 16 months, love those easy keepers.  Are you going to keep her full blood Angus?

Total really throws some size in his calves.

I think she's gonna be too big for many judges. 

You are looking at a 1800-2000 pound mature cow and most will agree that is too big for most folks.

Yep! And Y'uns all think Shorthorn cows get too big at maturity?

May be too big for some, but sure is a nice deep bodied gal - I like her.

Yeah for the first calf anyways! Hopefully she is bred! will find out next week.

She is going to be big.....but that is a baby maker if I have ever seen one.  Bred correctly, could be very effective.

She looks really good.  Love the soggyness when you look at her from the side.  If anything I would like to level her out in her hooks and pins, she appears to get to high in her pins. It would also help get her rear legs up under her more and get her squared up in the rump, right now she gets a little to round.  JMO
