Telos, for you, from the cowboy's cowboy singer... (anybody know who that is?)

Even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll
We've all got some boogie woogie in our soul
There's a little bit of Buddy Holley in every cowboy that I know
'Cause even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll

DLD how about Chris Ledoux for your song!

Well now cowboys love the ladies they like beans and sour dough
Good horses and hot black coffee and camp fires burnin' low
You know we love that cowboy music but I'll bet you didn't know
That even cowboys like just a little rock and roll

Even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll
Yeah we all got some boogie woogie in our soul
There's a little bit of Buddy Holly in every cowboy that I know
And even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll

Now when you're camped out on the prairie and that ole moon is shinin' bright
And you can hear them cattle bawlin' soft and low
There's nothin' like a cowboy song to make it all feel just right
But even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll
Even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll
Yeah we all got some boogie woogie in our soul
There's a little bit of Chuck Berry in every cowboy that I know
And even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll

Now those old buckaroos are set in their ways and they'll even tell you so
Say they don't like nothin' but them old time cowboy songs
Yeah but I've seen that green grass growin' underneath that winter snow
I'll bet them old cowboys even like a little rock and roll
Even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll
Yeah we all got some boogie woogie in our soul
There's a little bit of Charlie Daniels in every cowboy that I know
And even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll

Yeah there's a little long hair in every single cowboy that I know
And even cowboy's like a little bit of rock and roll

(welcome)

Great song DLD! Also good job on naming the tunes!

John Lee hooker did the scotch song first. It's an old blues deal. George changed the old song up and I think I like his version best. By the time we got to woodstock we were half a million strong. Excellent work people. Who wrote "hello walls" and sold the rights for like 15 bucks. Who got drunk and had his wife pull the keys on all the vehicles. He then drove the lawn mower 7 miles to nearest bar where he was found later. Willie jones was a freind of mine when I lived in Baltimore. Shot over his head but I ain't seen him since.

Oh, but Red... Anybody who can entertain me daily, like you do, is mega-talented in my book.

I guess those days of the traditional cowboy on horseback are over. Who wrote "The Times, They are a Changin".

Come out and visit us!

Song Lyrics - Love Shack
If you see a faded sign on the side of the road that says,
Fifteen miles to the...LOVE SHACK! Love shack yea.

I'm headin' down the Atlanta highway,
Lookin' for the love getaway,
Headed for the love getaway

I got me a car, it's as big as a whale and we're headed on down to the love shack.
I got me a Chrysler, it seats about twenty, so hurry up and bring your jukebox money!

The love shack is a little old place where, we can get together.
Love shack baby. (A love shack bay-hay-bee)
Love shack, baby love shack
Love shack, baby love shack
Love shack, baby love shack (Love baby, that's where its at)
Love shack, baby love shack (Love baby, that's where its at)

Sign says, (wooo!) Stay away fools,
'Cause love rules at the love shack,
Well it's set way back in the middle of a field,
Just a funky old shack and I gotta get back.

Glitter on the mattress,
Glitter on the highway
Glitter on the front porch,
Glitter on the hallway

The love shack is a little old place where,
We can get together
Love shack bay-ay-bee. Love shack baby!
Love sha-a-ack, that's where it's at
Love sha-a-ack, that's where it's at

Huggin' and a kissin', dancin' and a lovin',
Wearin' next to nothin' 'cause it's hot as an oven.
The whole shack shimmies when everybody's movin'
Around and around and around and around!

Everybody's movin', everybody's groovin' baby.
(Folks linin' up outside just to get down)!
Everybody's movin', everybody's groovin' baby.
(Funky little shack, funky little shack)!

Hop in my Chrysler it's as big as a whale and we're about to set sail!
I got me a car, it seats about 20 so hurry up and bring your jukebox money!

The love shack is a little old place where,
We can get together
Love shack bay-ay-bee. Love shack baby!
Love sha-a-ack, that's where it's at
Love sha-a-ack, that's where it's at

Bang, bang, bang, on the door baby, (Knock a little louder baby)
Bang, bang, bang, on the door baby, (I can't hear you)
Bang bang! (On the door baby) Bang bang! (On the door!)
Bang bang! (On the door baby) Bang bang! (On the door!)

You're what???
Tin roof...rusted!

Love shack, baby love shack
Love shack, baby love shack
Love shack, baby love shack  (Love baby that's where it's at!)
Love shack, baby love shack  (Love baby that's where it's at!)
At the love shack
