You're right shorthorn boy - he is a Red Poll.  I thought it might take a little longer than that for someone to get the right breed.
The bull's name is Rodeo Buster 17A.  He was born on May 24, 1969 and was bred by Harold Howe of Swalwell, Alberta.
I think he looks like a fairly impressive bull.

Hello DL.  I'm fine - and hope that you are too.
I had absolutely no guess at your cow, so I cheated and called up a friend of mine. (You've been in contact with him through one of the other forums).
His thought was that she resembles Lucy of Eldorado.
If that's wrong, maybe someone else on the board who is a history guru will be able to answer.
I'll try and get organized enough to email you one of these times.
