I have noticed an increase in discussion of Black Angus cattle on here lately, which is exciting for me.  I thought I would pass along what we have been doing with our herd and show you the progress we have made.  We will be heading out to Denver this weekend to get the animals on display and then they will be sold on Friday the 13th in the Foundation Female Sale.  Let me know what you all think of these angus cattle.

That first heifer, 6398, is flat good in my opinion.  Looks like a momma cow in the making.  The last heifer, 6138 is crazy deep flanked.  She's cool in her own way.  Best of luck with the lase.  Cattle look very good.

I think your herd bull is serving quite well.  Nice set.  Should sell well for you.

Thank you Nyk and GoWyo.  I have really loved that 6398 heifer the whole way through.  We kept her full sib brother out of a 1st calf heifer after he did 106 WWR at 785#, 104 IMF, and a 110 RE with 15.3  I found an old cell phone pic of him and attached it.  We should be expecting calves in the next couple weeks out of him and are looking forward to them.  I also attached another heifer from our herd bull, a paternal sib to the cattle we are discussing.  She will be selling in Feb at the Iowa Beef Expo.  All videos are now officially up on the website.
