There was an abandoned blocking chute found today on the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.  I believe there was a Simmental promotional bull in it earlier in the week.  Anyone wishing to claim please inquire at the office.

Dusty that looks like a chute that I tried to lose. For 5 years + I left it @ the fair grounds, but no one would take it home, so now it's back here. Do you think someone tried to make an orphan out of this chute?

We have a winner!  According to another post the chute belongs to Tony Romshek of Romshek Show Cattle.  I'm glad you found it!

Dusty, I'm surprised it was in lost & found and you didn't let them know you knew where it belonged but no big deal.  I figured after you clipped in it last week that you wouldn't forget it???????  It's kind of tough to forget.  Silly me,  this whole thread must be sarcasm!!!

I figured you already had yours loaded up.  And it was kind of dark in your showbarn that night.  Come to think of it I should have recognized the wire that I put on the top back corner to keep it from coming apart while I was clipping...

I see about all homemade chutes like that at our county fair.  I've seen vacuum cleaners reversed for blowers, and someone show up with a pair of scissors to clip their stocker feeder.  This is the same show they show the pigs in the rodeo arena, they come out the bull bucking chutes.
