Don't know about any rooms "by Teddy's" & I can't help you with that part, but if that doesn't pan out for you... I do know that as of a few days ago, there were still plenty of hotels in Denver with fairly cheap rooms... $40-$70 per night.  Several with "pricey rooms" too.

Check on a Bed & Breakfast. Sometimes there around the same price as a Hotel/Motel.

Holiday Inn with the Teddy's bar will run ya about 175 a night with tax if you can find someone who has an extra one.  Seems a little pricey, but if your payin cab fare down an back to teddy's that ain't cheap either.  Scenery real nice at teddy's also.

yes.. thats why we want to be there or across the street... so we dont have to mess with a cab
