What is everyone's opinion on these new bulls....Bail Out (AliasX Lifeline), One in a Million ( Johnny Walker RedxFull Flush), Troubadour (Lead On X W.G.x CasperxSugar Rayx Epinal).  I have a few head of females that I am considering these bulls for.  The females are all Full Flush daughters on either angus or charolais cows.  Thanks for the information!!!

The bulls you mentioned are not proven, so they are just a crap shoot. The only one I have seen personally is One In A Million. I saw several bulls, including his sire and grandsire, that I would rather use.Troubador might be a better choice, but I haven't seen him. JMO

There are 2 Troubador's & 2 Bailout's that are all new this year. Which ones are you talking about for sure?

Unless you are just wanting to try new ones, half-blood bulls I'd suggest thinking about Yellowjacket (works real well on Maine-X females) or Milkman (if you want a colored bull out of Heat Wave - first crop did a lot of winning in Texas this year).  These are both relatively new bulls (in the past two-three years) but whose calves are showing up in winner circles big time.

I've seen Troubador.  I'd use him on a super stout cow that needed prettying up.

On those crossbred cows you might think of going purebred Charolais.  Ones to use would be Lead On himself or Kris Black's George bull (can get semen from SEK).

Thanks for the opinions.  I do have Milkman and Yellowjacket on my short list.  I have 1 FFxChar. female that will throw color.  She is a smokey bred to Heat Wave son and had a perfectly marked shorthorn appearing calf.  So I might have to try Milkman or Yellowjacket and see what I get.  I am a little skeptical to use Lead On...have only seen 2 good calves out of him (the Grand at Houston'06 and Troubadour). Again, thanks for the information!!
