New shorthorn herd bull

We are really excited about our latest purchase. The top picture is of the bull we just bought from Hatfield Shorthorns & Clydesdales. He is Hatfield General 6Z a 2 year old son of one of our current herdbulls Hatfield Governor 17X. Governor has done a great job of improving our herd with his heifers. I've liked General since he was a young calf and can't wait to see what he will do for us!

He looks really good! Hatfield has some awesome cattle, I believe he has a number of excellent 2 year old herd bulls available this spring

Yes he does, Jaimiediamond.  I had gone by myself to take a look at them and then a couple of days later went back with my hubby. Didn't tell him which was my pick and he picked this one out too. There are some other ones in the bunch that look really good too. Some nice yearlings available as well. What I like about these bulls is that they have good lookin' sires and dams behind them!
