Rinse, brush, condition, keep him out of the sun, fans...all work wonders on hair. A big part of just how good hair gets is genetic. But even on the ones that dont have genes for good hair can have decent hair with enough elbow grease.  Just keep working, thats the best advice anyone can give you.  Do the best you can with the resources you have available, and in the end be proud of the effort you put in regardless of the outcome.

I second what Jarred said. Fans help a lot. But elbow grease and that rice root brush are the key.

Here's a big shout out to "twisted" for providing some very good down to earth advise to a newbie.  Not many people take the time to do it.  I don't know you or the youngster with the calf, but you get a big Thanks from me for helping out. 

Good luck with the calf.  I think he has potential if you'll feed him and work him.  Have fun cause thats the name of the game. <party>

he started creep feed a week ago and is starting to really loose the greeness.  Ill try to get updated pictures asap and thanks again for all the help and time spent on giving me advice, i really apreciate it
