I have been revamping our old website and have come up with what I think will be the keeper.I have some more to add yet, but you can get the idea. Please check it out and offer and suggestions or opinions. I designed the whole thing from scratch, NO STOCK IMAGERY.

I like the web site, the photography is great and I really like the shots of the puppies.  Now don't take this the wrong way, but the best thing was the  pictures of  puppies.  The "For Sale" and "Winners" sections are  empty, a big disappointment.  If the web site is just for promotion, then promote the program.  Even a narrative of your goals and lines would be good.  I understand that you may not have thing for sale "TODAY:, but bait me so I will  come back with pictures of donors or sires or past winners or high sellers or more  puppies  available later this year.  Provide future opportunities and update the site often so would be customers have something to keep their interest. Updating often will keep those who  are semi interested coming back.  This is just my take on the site.  It is well done and quite professional, it just lacks stuff to buy.

My biggest critique is that everything seems stretched for some reason. The navigation bars seemed like the words were stretched just a bit, as did the image at the top. I know this is weird, but it literally made me a bit dizzy. Otherwise I think you have a good layout to work with.

That is weird! Thanks for the heads up. It has looked fine on the screens I have viewed it on, would you mind letting me know what platform you are using, and what your screen size is?
THANKS!

I had the same thing.  I'm using Explorer and have a 17" screen.  One other thing I'd add is there's no link to the home page on the other pages.  And you might want to put some space at the bottom of your home page, it was almost cut off at the bottom on my screen.

Thanks. There is a home button from the other pages, it is the main logo on the top of the page. I realize it might not be the easiest to figure out, but it is becoming more known to look around for them. Maybe I will just have to add a labeled button.

Looks pretty good.  I too got a little dizzy with the orange words in the logo, though.  What software are you using?

The words shoiuld have appeared red, but they could have looked orange depending on your monitor. I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 for my graphics and Dreamweaver CS4 to layout my sites. I can also use Adobe Fireworks CS4 for some graphics as well.
