Quite frankly, if she was a purebred Highland, you may want to consider flushing her. There is a real market for them. I know a Highland breeder who sells his 300- 350 lb heifer calves at $2500 to $4000 out of the yard, and his bull calves at $3000 to $5000. He has sold bulls to breeders at $10,000 or more on occasion. Sounds like good business to me!!!  There is a real market for them to acreage people.

She actually is PB highlander, she could have papers but I would have to go back to her breeder(who I dont know) and get them. I should breed her to a hollstein and develope a new breed of milkers!! I dont think this could handle a heatwave calf. I was however thinking maybe full flush, a meyer son, or Possibly Pollriod.

BCCC, I think that it would actually be fun to breed your heifer to a Scottish Highlander. If I were you, I might would try to get the papers, who knows down the road what you may want to do.
Kanshow, I think that I could get you a discount on 50+ units. Do you want to start asking? Brent

Heres another picture of her, I want something halfways cheap, like 20-30 because my ag teacher said he never could get her bred, but then again he was using bucking bulls that are like triple the size of her, and he said she may have but she might have lost the calf when he had them out on grass.

Laugh you may, but I would try a Angus calving ease bull on her and hope for a heifer. Start from there. There is a high demand in the eastern states and new england states for Highlanders. They are marketed as lean and hardy beef. From a club calf perspective you may be surprised what she could do. Looks like she might need some groceries but, I wouldn't rule out a Angus or Red Angus calving ease bull. Just a though. ;)
