No Worries calves

Does anyone have experience using him? I am thinking of AI ing him to a first calf heifer and would like to know BW and showiness. What do they look like in terms of structure, muscle, and hair? I want to breed for a bull calf that would be competitive at my county fair.

A No Worries steer was the Grand Champion at the Utah State Fair a few years ago. He did a fair amount of winning in the Rocky Mountain Junior Show Series in the same year. Supposedly, No Worries works best on cow/heifer that are clubby bred.

I don't but if I was to guess, I would say between 1300 and 1400 pounds. We should have a No Worries calf out of a Monopoly cow born at the end of this month.

This is a No Worries steer we raised. He was 91# out of a clubby bred female. I dont feed my cows hard and they dont get much exercise in the dry lot in winter, so I seem to always have large calves.

Ive seen good calves out of him and a variety of females-including first calvers. They tend to follow the female in type. Anytime you can get a good to very good quality first calf-its all a person could ask for O0

I agree with Mark in that they seem to follow the female in type.. At least that's what I have seen. As far as BW's, I've seen bull calves from 70 to 90.

This is a one month heifer out of full Maine first calf heifer.

Make sure the cow has a neck,he can shorten one up in a hurry!

3 born to heifers this week. 2 were out of 50-60# simangus heifers. 1 was closer to 90 out of a choppin wood heifer. 1 baldy and 2 brockle face.

This calf was born today. No Worriesxmonopoly bull calf. He's 30lbs bigger than we expected and a little more leg than we expected out of a short chunky cow. He's long bodied and fronted. Do they come out as so so calves and then come on and look good as they get older. Before anyone mentions that he's just a newborn. We've done this long enough to know what most will look like as they get older.
