That part of Pennsylvania is not highly populated but you'll see some upland farm country around Mansfield and Liberty. Gettysburg and the Amish Country will be several hours away. So if you do those, it would probably be best to plan those stops on the way there or on the way back. The Pine Creek Gorge might be a good day trip while you're there and you won't be far from some of the most remote country Pennsylvania has to offer. Lots of hiking opportunities. It's pretty country but not exactly the metropolis most folks envision when they think of Pennsylvania. Lots of opportunities to hit a deer in the mornings and evenings, so keep your eyes peeled!
