Looking at ancestry in his pedigree shows all + on docility.  So with that being the case, this would tell me that it has to be based on his offspring.

The pictured daughter sure looks nice.  Not that a bull like this won't have some nice animals that can perform and work quite well, looking at his latest EPDs shows that he is negative on his $Beef value by $7.05

My brother bred a bunch of heifers to him and never pulled one. I was thinking I heard his daughters might come up a little short on pelvic area.

Thanks for the feedback.
I was just interested because of his dam being full sister to Emblazon and I like his sire, OCC Focus http://www.ohldecattle.com/sires/focus813f.html
Maybe it would be better just to use Focus.

That makes sense about the pelvic measurements and his extreme calving ease.
"Avoid extremes" as a Leonhardt  said.

When I was looking around, I did find this video about bulls by Homer x Irish Whiskey daughters:
Not my thing, but interesting.
3 Bulls Occ Homer sons(angus ) x Irish whiskey daughters
Rear End is a son of Homer.  I like the volume OCC puts into females, but after spending all day helping work Angus, I sure like Shorthorn dispositions better.
