What were the top 5 steers @ the Ohio State Fair?  Who had them, who were they sired by?  First show I've missed in 10years.  Thanks

Lautner's blog has 2-5 listed.  Obviously the champ didn't come out of their bull so not sure who it  was

Believe in me x I80s mother. Almost everyone had Clark picked to win it but once they got side by side the Believe calf was head and shoulders better. I went to make up ring after the show and got right on them and honestly the 3rd place calf could have easily flipped with the reserve. Great show today and congrats to all the exhibitors

Just curious if all of the PPL that were saying that Walks Alone is better than BIM, are you still on board? I think we'll see quite a few BIM winners this season and more in the upcoming years. Interesting also that quite a few PPL are returning back to the Grand Daddy, Heat Wave!! We're seeing more direct HW calves this season.

How did Lintons steer look? He won Divison 5. When I heard His steer won Division 5 I was shocked not to see it in the top 5 pics. The reserve champ hereford sure looked the par in the pics. I know he was a stud of a calf at Larrisons in sept

Nope, I believe BIM is the better bull.

I'd call it a tie, when breeding  mate the right cow to the right bull, I'm sure these two full brothers work best on different type cows ....
Maybe this is how I should have explained my thoughts, I agree. I just haven't found the right mate for Walks Alone.
