Okay boys, im a 1995 model and I've gotten a hold of some semen that is as old or older than myself, my Internet and my area of expertise so id like to see if anyone on here can give a run down and maybe a cow suggestion type advice

I bought a grouping of semen and in it was some "wedge" a cunia son owned by Mimms

"Full form"- full flush son

And "hard core"- popular because its on mab pedigree he's a purebred Maine bull that's all I knkw

And the bonus is deja vu- I had some of that before hand and I ended up getting a pregnancy out of deja vu and a "horny" daughter from Mid continent that I ended up with at 17 years old.

Thinking on these I know the steers wont be winning majors- looking at potentially a herd side type stuff to use to make eared steers off the cows down here

And possibly keeping exotic type heifers to make Americans and ft worth type steers perhaps on exotic Bulls with soundness and belly

Attainable? Or too far removed. I'm in no rush not looking for a 1 generation wonder, can a guy use cows bred that way

Thanks in advance

I saw them as stout enough,  the cows they were bred to were a little on the common side,  and a little short on the feed dept.  They had some eye appeal,  just never had a great chance.

Full Form was a very good Full Flush son that Bill Cody had.  Breed him to % Maine females or if you wanted to expirament on any dumpy carrier Char x females.  I used him a fair bit and got along well before Heat Wave took over.

Would the Hard Core Maine bull have any value as an outcross bull for other purebred Maines?

I am assuming he was probably th and pha clean.

Shoot for females with these bulls that is where they will work the best now days.  The De Ja Vue's could have some fire to them and a few of the forms could too.  These would be big boned, hairy and good muscled.  Hard Core's could be hard made, he was in a sort the i-80 of his day on a smaller scale.  Wedge was kind of a regional bull and didn't get used very widely.
