Oldest bull in the tank

I see a lot of conversations with the newest genetics, but there are still older bulls that can be relevant today if used properly.  So my questions are:
1) who is the oldest bull in the tank that you would still use today?
2) who is the oldest bull that you would not use?

My answers are 1) Galant simmy born in 1968
2) Circle B Mr 317M simmy show bull born in 1980 - his semen will be breeding Holsteins soon

SSS-SCF Autobahn 020G, born in 1997. Had used a bunch few years ago when cattle were real high and sold all the heifers. Wanted a few around again so used 2-3 this year.

Got an original unit of Who Made Who yet born in 96. Will use to flush someday or sell?

L T 598 Bando 9074 will use on some SimAngus cattle here next few years born 99.

Bulls I won't use well as original poster said will/have used on hard breeding dairy cows!

I have a few bulls from the early to mid 60s. The TPS Coronet Leader 21 semen I used in a couple flushes was collected in 1963. I had the semen checked before we bred the donors, and the ET center said they wished all the semen they used was as good. It was very high quality at over 50 years. Some other old semen is : 2 vials of Bogan Yalta which was imported from Australia in the mid 60s. Also Meadowbrook Prince 16th, and Banner Royal Oak. There are a few Maine, and Simmental sires from the very early days of these breeds here.

We've got some Cunia that might be useful, but I'm not convinced. The oldest I'd for sure use is the 2 units of Trump that I've got in there.

Also have some Sugar Ray, Full Throttle, Ice Pick, and some others from that era that need dumped.

I've got a few straws of the Spur Emulous Master bull of Griswold's born I think in '69.  Will either sell it or flush a real moderate occ type cow with it.

Weston dingo born in 74 I think and bowmans Abernathy born in late 60's all in amps. We have calves out of the dingo bull and we are going to use Abernathy this spring hopefully.

For a bull his age, he has some good EPD's still.... but not sure what I would use him on yet.

My opinion he may be the best simmy bull ever. Awesome females! Use him on a really pretty dream on. He will work on a lot of different cows. I bought him to flush with.

So a soft female? I know he makes great females, I have seen some and loved them as cows. I came across that semen several years ago, when Dalton Lundy had an online sale web page. I bought several sets of embryos and some semen (Voyager, Fat Butt, and the 600U). I only paid $33 (that included shipping). I have been hording it just looking for the right chance to use him.
I get lucky that way. I bought 5 straws of Lock N Load from my Genex rep (ordered it as soon as I found out Genex had bought him). Swallowed hard when I heard he was $75 a straw, but now wish I would have bought 10 straws instead of 5! Sales recently have him going for $250 and up! Got a cow in mind to flush him to, she is due calve in about a week. I will do a conventional flush, I have heard of too much issues with conceptions on IVF.
