PROUD TO BE A CANADIAN TONIGHT

Watching it on NBC in FL and I must applaud the NBC announcers and their positive attitude towards  Canada.

Very good coverage!  Been to Toronto and Niagra Falls, but watching the footage makes me want to take a trip out west.

Canada has done itself proud tonight. That Olympic opening show is simply amazing... beyond world class! I am very proud of my country tonight! I will be even prouder when we take the Golds in both Men's and Women's hockey!

Indeed a nice opening... but please remember the one man luge athlete that was killed this morning in a trial practice run.

Let the games be fair. Let the games be humble. Now, let the games begin!!

I had to watch it on my Canadian Sat. as the great box the US made me buy quit on me yesterday. I wanted to watch it on US to see how they did, glad it was good Uluru. Anyways I thought it was a great representation of Canada.
Now the good humored rooting between me and my hubby starts. GO CANADA

watched a little bit of the pre coverage...that piece that tom brokaw did was amazing...the scenery is absolutely beautiful!  almost made me want to move there!  interesting fact that 90% of the population lives within 100 miles of us border...and that there are more people in california than canada...
