Just curious what everyones opinions on breeding for second calvers,i have two purebred angus and a half maine,Would one be a better calving choice or would they both be about the same.I haven't heard of any horror stories on either bull, but not looking to start my own either.

We've had 1 One and Only and he was small and built right to be born easy.  1 doesn't help you much.  I also haven't heard anything terrible about One and Only and calving.

Never used One & Only, but did use Thriller on 2nd calvers with  great success. I actually had better luck calving with him than I did with I-80.

We have calved both out of second calvers and all were consistently around 85 lbs.  The One and Only's were built a little better for calving ease, but still no problems.  Calves are of great quality and have been retained as replacements.  I would say as a group though that One and Only calves had a little more frame and were a little sounder, and the plus is he throws a very high percentage of baldies.  No disposition problems out of either bull either.
