opinions on my prospect heifer

She looks feminine, but she lacks bone, and power. She might make a good cow, I do not think she will over power in the show ring though.

You can make her fatter...yes. You can't really make her thicker, stouter or bigger volumed. She does look feminine, and she looks pretty correct. Soundness is a big deal, and feeding her & developing her to her greatest potential is really all you can do. I'm not trying to be overly critical, but I do think she needs more rib. And sometimes they change...I've seen some pretty spindly looking heifer babies make big ribbed yearlings...that depends on her genetics & her development. So good luck! Hope she just gets better as she does get older.

I see what you are staying but she is still young hopefully she'll flesh up some and make a decent show heifer and a good momma cow. I'd like to hear many more comments and concerns from all on her. Also if anyone has any good ideas on what she might breed good to Please inform me

I think your heifer is worth holding back for a cow..She could develop very nicely into a show heifer, but time will tell.
I would recommend breeding her to a easy calving angus bull or if you want a more stylish club calf I would go with a Ali son.
