Did anyone see this bull in person at Denver? Maybe this already  been discussed? He looks plenty thick in the video and a purebred simmi.

I liked that one on video too, for a PB. I was going to post up a question to those who saw them, which is better (or worse) and what are they like: American Dream vs. Optimus Prime

OHB - This one is practically in your backyard! It should be your responsibility to go see him and report to us before he goes to stud

I attended a banquet last Sat. and was seated by a guy that said his daughter & son in law had been to Denver. Their pick of all of the bulls was Otimus Prime. I was told that they were selling semen shares on the bull.

OP is a real nice bull.  Stopped at Jones' and looked last week, good as his video, although he's not a PB he's a 3/4 blood.   You can use him on PB cows and generate PB babies, but on an angus cow you'd have 3/8 babies.    No less, a heck of a bull.  Muscle, bone, hair and very good necked, not your typical Steel Force.  I'd say you can see mama's influence in this stud!

Who owns him?

Harrod, Ohio. They have a sale every year. They recently got into Simmi genetics. They have a donor on their site Miss She So Sweet, I think that is right. I surely don't want to misquote. I am not sure if the Optimus is out of her?

Yes they are in my back yard just have to take the time to see him. Never enough hours in the day. From video he looked like he had plenty of guts. IF she is his momma, miss she so sweet, he should have plenty middle. She is pretty deep sided. I have not seen her in person though either. Troy is usually pretty good about answering questions. I may have to drop him an email about this bull.
