Our AWESOME day today

The kids had a great day today. My middle child won Champion Simmental Female with an Upgrade heifer (I have pictured her here before). My oldest won Reserve Champion Simmental with her April heifer. Then, not only did we win champion and reserve champion Simmental Bulls, but our October Mo Better bull calf won Supreme Champion bull, and there were lots of bulls there! The judge really liked him, even though he was one of the  younger bulls there. To top it off, my oldest daughter won Senior Showmanship!!! Even though my youngest, Seth, did not win anything, he had a good day showing his favorite heifer! Great day!!!

Oh, and my middle child won grand champion steer with her bred and owned red steer we show!

Oh, the little cartoon heifers are something the AJSA is doing this year, with Sally The Simmental. My kids wanted to take pics with her and post them...

We had a blessed day, that is FOR SURE!

Thanks everyone  ;D What a better way to spend our Saturday than with family, playing with the show heifers (and bulls and steer), making sandwiches while we drink homemade iced tea! Like a picnic with our cows
