Our Halloween Treat.. or Trick?

We had a first calf heifer calve today.

Congrats! Are they on wheat pasture? And are those soybeans on the other side of the fence??

They are on brome pasture that is just about done.    Those are double crop beans on the other side of the fence.   

I'm a little disappointed in this calf but reserving judgement to see how he fills out over the next few days.    He is PB Charolais.  He is by Easy Pro & out of a Pronto x Sparrows Alliance cow.

I thought maybe you had a white simmy and were really onto something.

;D ;D   If I thought there was a snowballs chance of getting white simmis instead of grays, I might go for it and develop my own breed! 

I tell ya what..  There is something to be said for WHITE..    Those black & red simmis just blend into to the pasture surroundings.  This little dude sticks out! 

Oh and while I'm getting that all figured out, I'm going to work on rerouting the plumbing so I can make bulls into heifers & vice versa as needed.
