Since I saw your ad, was wondering if you had any on the ground yet & how are they doing?

Hope thing are going well for you and your family

How do they compare to the Salution calves?

Amazons are stouter, more heavily muscles and more correct (Salutions will toe out), hairy and more attractive as calves. Salution is calving ease and we continue to use him on heifers but you have to give them time they are later maturing.  As I said earlier we are really happy with amazon the calves are consistent and really good.  If you are going to be in Ohio stop out we are only 1.5 hours from Columbus.  One of these days I will try for some pics, but right now we are on dry lot and it is impossible to get good calf pics on concrete.

Thanks I appreciate the comments.  I like it when Bull(Salution) owners aren't afraid to call a spade a spade.

Just a set of twin bull calves, their ok but they are twin bull calves not a very fair representative sample.  have 3 cows due this week that way, if they ever decided to calves.  Oh wait it is nice and sunny and 45 why would they calve today, its not below freezing!

Hey,

I  have a really nice Aces of Fortune x Hummer heifer I was thinking about breeding to Salution. She needs a better front end however(not as much leather..basically cleaner, more refined) has super great structure...really stout and deep. Would this click with him? Also could you tell me the frame score on Amazon and Salution?

Thanks so much

Both bulls are frame 6, I would think he would work fine, I have not seen any out of higher % Simmental, We just used him on Maine/Angus and Angus females.

Which one,  The pic of amazon was taken when he was 20 months, salution was 12mo.

One of these day we may take another pic maybe when he is 4 or 5

Amazon, I'll rephrase, do you have any of him out working in the pasture?
