I know there are some horse folks on here, so I thought I would post this filly here as well just to see.

After a lot of debate and hand wringing, we have decided to sell the final horse on my place.  Chloe is a beautiful little horse, but unfortunately we just do not have the time for her that she needs.  Plus my interest has swayed over the years from horses to cows on top of it.  So we are looking to send her off to a new home.

Chloe was born June 5, 2007 so she is a little small yet for a "2 year old".  Her color is hard to pinpoint.  But if you were going to call it something, she would be a Bay Dun tobiano.  It is kind of an interesting combination.

She is a great little horse.  My guess is that when she fills out she will wind up being 15’2 or 15’3 hands tall.  She is very quiet and doesn’t get too worked up about anything.  She is very well halter broke from trips between her pen and the pasture.  She needs to learn some patience, but that will be something that comes with time on her.  With the fact that I am selling her, I have been working with her lately.  I haven’t attempted a saddle on her yet.  I have also been working on her lifting her feet, something that hasn’t gotten along as far as I would like.  Like I said she needs someone with more time than I have to work with her, and I have no doubt that she will make an excellent horse.

Her sire is a pretty famous paint horse by the name of Jingo Dazzler.  He is a red dun tobiano stallion that was an APHA champion.  He has some much older bloodlines.  I can’t say for certain, but Chloe is one of the last horses that was sired by him, as I am pretty sure he died the year after she was born.  (he was born in 1979).  Here is a picture of him, as well as his bloodlines.  He is known for being more of an all around horse.  If you google search Jingo Dazzler a lot of different foals of him will show up.  I have a picture of him if you would like to see him.

Her dam is my mare from when I was younger.  Angel is my favorite horse I have ever been around, and will probably always have that title.  I ran barrels and poles on her back in my younger days.  She has all kinds of speed to her (consistent 1 and 2 D).  Unfortunately when we rescued her from the farm we bought her from she didn’t have any papers.  The people that we bought her from said she was a registered Quarter Horse (which she looks all the world like) but they had long lost the papers.  Because of this, we aren’t able to register Chloe with the APHA.

We are asking $1200 for her. After initial breeding fees, we are definitely losing money on her, but considering I need her pen soon to wean calves I have to try to move her quickly.

My last try on here bump.

I was told by a lady since she is a tri colored paint she could be registered as a Pinto, but I must admit to knowing zilch about the Pinto asscociation.

Thanks for the kind words all.

My father saw her for the first time in a long time this weekend and a quote from him was "I don't say this about just anything, but that is a beautiful animal"  He then tried to convince me to keep her.  I however need the room at our place so she sadly must go.

I will entertain offers, because I do have to try to move her quickly.
