We are located in SE North Dakota. Galloways don't suffer in the heat as much as some assume. Our cattle never bunch up in corners to fight flies, they are usually scattered thoughout the pasture grazing during the day, or lying out in the open. We have ponds/creeks in the pasture, and the cattle are very seldom in it. Don't get me wrong, when it is 100+ and high humidity, with no breeze everything suffers, me included. ;DShow Heifer said:Where are you located? Calves with hair like that around here would drown in a creek/pond, or die of heat.
