I'am considering using a bull called Peer Pressure this year and I was wondering what type of cows he works best on? I know he has only been out one year but I know there has to be some calves out of him by now. Also considering using My Turn What kind of cows does he work best on? Most of our cows ar simm x angus and then alot of draftpick and chill factor grand daughters so we are looking to find the best fit for them. Thanks

I am waiting on them, I have to go look at one, I have a neighbor that is supposed to have a good one.  I haven't heard of any cripples yet.  I have seen a Walks, Monop. and HW cripple this year!  Just waiting on mine! <party>

I bred two registered Angus cows to My Turn, both stuck, and both are having heifers this fall. I'll have some pics up when they get here.

I looked at a couple nice My Turn calves last night.  A bull and a heifer.  The heifer was out of I believe a draft pick cow.  Don't hold me to that.  I know she had a real nice bull calf from My turn last year.  I am not for sure what kind of cow the bull was out of.

I don't know about Peer Pressure but I'm with jbw, you can get a lot of peer pressure to use My Turn ;).

I've got 4 My Turns, all under 2 weeks old, all look very good. They are my best sire group right now. Big topped, good bone, REALLY hairy, look adequate structured at this point, none that straight. If I was to change one thing, I think I would use him on a little more moderate cow. They aren't too big and lanky, but they don't appear to be the puddy little ones that seem to be the rage right now. Time will tell

A good buddy has two that look just like ours, but one of them is pretty straight hocked. So that means 1 out of 5 looks a little straight, none crippled, around here. I'll be using more this spring

Peer Pressure does have calves on the ground.  The birth weights have been in the 60 to 80 pound range.  Calves are looking good, good bone, hairy and very vigorous.  Joe Coblentz will have pictures on his website in the near future.  We have been getting calls for more semen from those that used him last year. Drop us a note if you have any more questions!

The owner where you SAW that calf may think different whether that was just a run of the mill cow..
