Phineas

I thought I would post a couple of pictures of my grandson's new bull calf. He is sired by Ace of Diamonds.  My grandson named him Phineas, he is 8 so you can see where the name came from.  My grandson is 8 not the bull calf.  He plans on showing him this summer first at the Iowa Junior Field Day in June.

Love the calf.  What was his BW? Is he in Nashua or Waverly?  I'd like to stop by and see him.

to answer some of your questions.  The grand  dam came from Studers, she was reserve senior calf at the Iowa state fair.That year she beat some really good heifers.  The Dam of Phineas was champion winter heifer calf at the Iowa state fair.  She is sired by a K-Kim bull who was sired by AR SU LU Mikasa.  The mother of Phineas we call Bingo, her 2008 calf was sold to Kansas and showed really well.  Her 2009 heifer went to Courtney Swab  and won her class in both the open and junior show at the 2010 NAILE.  I have attached a picture of her which we call Sweety.  We will be flushing Sweety this spring.  We lost Bingo's 2010 calf, which was another really good heifer.    Phineas came 10 days late and weighed 96# at birth.
