Back to the old post about the NWSS photographer. I just quickly browsed through the Fort Worth photos. These, and the NWSS were done by the same photographers. Just shows you that FW is obviously doing a much better job of their photo areas. I love the look of the FW background. It is extrememly neat, clean, and much brighter and different than most shows. Congratulations to the FW commitee for that!!
I have to put in a couple of words though...as a photographer. It is difficult to ever "BLAME" anybody for bad photos. Sure, photographers are hired for their expertise, experience, and quality of workmanship. However, sometimes there are subjects, or locations that just beat the heck out of us. The whole issue with the NWSS photo, is comparable to many easy-to-relate to situations. What if I was hired to do a family session...and the kids in the family were acting like total little brats, and the family overbooked themselves and only had so much time to get their photos done, dispite the fact that I warned them about how much time I would need to get the session done?? The consequenses.....poor photos, of crabby kids, and grouchy parents. Who is to blame?? Im sure, yes, that the family could come back another day to get their photos redone. But...I warned them, and they refused to listen to the "expert". People like this are always the ones that have the nerve to go home and tell all of their friends about the terrible work that the photographer did.
I know that the thread has been overdone, but I wanted to throw out a good example, and speak my 2.5 cents.
