Pick of the 2014 Display Bulls

Normally there is a post, so I thought I would start one.  I didn't get to make it out this year, so I thought I would see what people who were there thought. Which were your favorites? Rock salt and Italian stallion seemed to be getting pushed pretty hard, how did they measure up?

I thought that most all the bulls I looked at could produce a good sound calf.  Not sure I have a favorite but I think there was several bulls that could change or fix a cow to make a better calf.  This is just an opinion and everyone has their own.
To soften a cow I really liked war eagle.  Big boned. Lots of hair.  Painted up.  Didn't see him walk but he was first on display and stood in the sun all day and shown no wear from it.  For you foot fetish guys.  He had big feet.  Haha
For red bulls.  Even better was top notch.  Big square top that dropped to a wide base.  Huge hair.  Great look.  Should change a typical shorty cow to produce a better calf.
If you need fanciness.  Italion stalion is the bull.  Has all the keenness you need to fancy one up.
For charolais I like good as gold. Wide base big butt .  Hard to find a hole. I thought all the charolais were good but felt like this bull would power up a calf.
I liked nearly all of them.
Had a great time.  Thought the Colorado people were friendlier and happier this year.  Almost giggly.  Lol

My top three picks: Even Better, American Hustle, and Safe and Sound. Thought Even Better was a really good complete bull if you want steers use him. American Hustle super stout and sound. Safe and sound another real complete bull.

What are the defect statuses and birth weights on Even Better and American Hustle?

American hustle tests were sent waiting results and an 86 pound birthweight. I couldn't tell you about even better

Good as Gold I thought was very impressive.  American Hustle was very powerful.  Italian Stallion was probably the most complete bull in my opinion.  Even Better looked real good I just worry about that pedigree and having 140 pound calves.  Rock Salt was about 3 ft tall I know hes younger but I don't really see him ever being big enough.  Armada was nice.  Tomahawk Chop was a beast. Total Perfection very nice.  With that being said there wasn't anything that I will be rushing to use this year.  I will wait until next year to see some calves then re evaluate.  These are just the Bulls that stuck in my mind 4 days later. (saw Rumchata walking and it hurt me just to watch popped his pasterns every step)

there were a lot of nice bulls in Denver.  I am sure someone says this every year, but These bulls all have some quality, and not a single one of them was PERFECT! Not all of them fit my program and some of their faults are deal breakers for my operation , but maybe totally acceptable to someone else.  I would have been proud to have bred anyone of them and surely have a high degree of appreciation for those folks that go through the time, expense and hassle to display them for my appraisal.  I really like to look at the display bulls as several classes in a show and in the end there is only ever 1 Grand Champion crowned by 1 man on 1 day.  That certainly doesn't mean that the others have no value or place in our herds.  Pick the ones you like and give them a try if you want to.  Need a colored up bull?  Muscle? Profile improver? Hair? structure? Maternal? I would venture a guess that nearly every bull that is in your tank right now was run down by someone, for some reason,  if he was ever displayed for public critique.

Does anybody have any more photos of this bull.  I really fell in love with his look just from his promo picture.  What does everyone else think of him...for those who could not make it to actually see the bulls.
