Need to weigh her, guessing in the mid 600's. She is an end of April.jbzdad said:she is really clean fronted and smooth shouldered' seems powerful .. seems to have a jump muscle bulge on her topline just in front of her hips... I think she will do very well as a market heifer... when was she born? what is her weight?
Very good questions and ones I've thought about. She's well worth the shot. We lost our steer from a freek accident and were looking for a good one at the last minute, purchased this heifer as well as a good PB Angus steer from Freddy.jbzdad said:is she a little light? seems like her weaning weight must have been about 500 if she is about 650 now... will you be able to get her to 1250 in 6 months? she will need to gain 3 lbs daily and she is not thin now...
will she be big enough to win a market class champ beside a 1350 steer?
I think that is something to remember when dealing with HW and his sons... may need to pull some performance from the dam side
she still looks very nice and I think you will do well with her
I own his dam, Jessica. Meysenburg Show Cattle and I shared the flushed that Dr. Business came from. If you have a picture, I'd love to see her. I have a full sister to Doc that is coming with a Gigelo Joe calf this March. Very excited to see her in production as she is really developing into a very nice female.jbzdad said:Tony.. thanks for your reply... good luck... by the way.. aren't you the guy who had some interest in Dr Business ?
I bought a share of a Dr Business heifer at MCF this fall
Well Played! (lol) <party>farwest said:I'm sure you'll show us some pics before the calf is dried off tony. Lol.
