Our whole herd has some type of Power Plant influence and we got along GREAT with a Purebred shorthorn bull on Power Plant Grand daughters and Great Granddaughters. We kept all the heifers that year and made good cows out of them and the bulls were thick and hairy. They gained really good too. The Shorthorn bull was a really big bull, solid red. I don't know what his pedigree was or anything like that though. Then the Pale Face calves were alright, not enough stoutness to them but they gained good and were hairy.
