This is a March '08 Bloodstone x Lucky Charm 255TP dtr. We bought her as a pregnancy from Shortdawg. The pics show as a month old baby , then at L'ville last fall, then in August this year when she won the IL State Fair. I've been pretty pleased with the way she has progressed . What do you think?

Tim and his kids sure do know how to take care of one, that's for sure. I was at Tim's a few weeks ago, and that heifer looks even better than she did at State Fair. We actually beat this heifer in class at Beef Expo, and then we both won our class at State, but this one went on to win the whole deal. She's a really really good one.

Not too shabby, whats she bred too?

She's bred to a bull called WL Chief . He's a Vortec out of a Lucky Charm bred cow. We've got some pretty nice calves by him & they've all been pretty small at birth. I've attached a pic of him from this past winter. I've also attached a pic of flushmate hfr to the one above that we've got. That cross has been a pretty good one. Cowz on here has a full sister to these 2 hfrs also.

That's a great lookin heifer. Kind of funny how all of those brothers out of the Desert Rose cow all seem to breed a little different.Personally as a whole I like the Bloodstone's the best.

I remember him as a calf in Denver-showed in the same class-he was really good, and breeds better than he looks. O0

Thanks , Justin!! Tim & the whole family work hard at it & I'm proud to call them friends & be partners with them on some cattle.
