Prospect Steer and Heifer Sale at the Royal

For those of you who have attended this sale in the past, how is the quality?  How do the calves generally sell compared to similar quality calves at other sales?  Just curious - we hope to be in K.C. that weekend - wondering if it is worth putting on our schedule!  Thanks.

I believe the quality will be better this year I have a friend from Nebraska that is bring a stout set of calves. also check out www.marksullivancattle.com  Mark is having a bid off sale during the Royal,sale is about 30 minute's away

You can find some bargains there if you know what to look for.  I heard Bastains are taking some nice ones.

The quality is usually good, you just have to know what to look for (like justme said). I know a breeder who is  bringing some really nice heifers. It's definitely worth going to!

Thanks for the info - never had much trouble picking out the good ones...getting them bought can be a problem sometimes!

I hear ya. That's the same problem I've got. At least we've got good taste!
