question about a breed cow

I  was  wondering  what  is a  good  price  for bred cows  and bred heifers. I  am  looking  at  buying a  couple a  couple  are bred ai" ed  and a  couple  to  the  herd  bull.  the  herd  bull  nothing  special.

Bred cows around here are bringing about $1,100 to $1,300 bred NS with a calf at the side. Bred heifers are bringing $1,800 AI bred and $1,600 NS bred IF they are out of proven calving ease bulls. Probably a lot less if they are not bred to something else.

Very wide range depending on quality.....  Figure what the calf is worth, what the cow would pound out for, and figure up based on quality from there.
